Intel® 80200 I/O Processor for Use with Agilent Logic Analyzers

Cerritos, CA,  March 20, 2001 -- Corelis Inc., today announced new additions to its extensive line of Logic Analysis Probes for the Agilent family of logic analyzers.  These latest tools are non-intrusive, and provide a powerful environment for the debugging of hardware and software real-time applications based on the Intel® 80200 I/O processor. 

The new analysis probe, PI-80200, provides logic analyzer access to all signals for the Intel 80200 I/O processor, and allows a developer to easily connect a target board to the Agilent family of logic analyzers for timing and state analysis. Included configuration software sets up the format specification menu of the logic analyzer for compatibility with the processor and loads an inverse assembler for the Intel 80200 I/O processor to obtain real-time displays of the processor data in assembly language mnemonics.

“These new tools allow the developer of an embedded system using the Intel 80200 I/O processor to bring their products to market much faster," said Steve Hartman, Corelis product manager for the Intel 80200 I/O processor.  "The preprocessor makes the debugging process much easier and faster by eliminating loose connections and lengthy set-up time."

The PI-80200 is available now and its price is $4,250.
