The ARINC-629 PCI-629 is an intelligent single-slot PCI compatible module designed to provide broad ARINC-629 avionics data bus testing capabilities, multiple terminal simulation, and monitoring of ARINC-629 bus traffic and fault insertion and detection. One ARINC-629 channel is provided on-board that can be switched under software control to one of four 629 interfaces at the front panel of the card. The module utilizes a Boeing approved DATAC device for all normal mode data transmission and reception and it supports Periodic, Aperiodic, C mode, Block mode, Alternate, and Independent mode. The card supports 120 terminal simulation and arbitrary traffic generation. The user can connect the PCI-629 card to the ARINC-629 bus and test, simulate, monitor, and insert faults onto the bus at the maximum data rate.
