The Blackhawk™ USB510L JTAG Emulator is a very affordable and full-featured addition to the product lineup for Texas Instruments TMS320, TMS470 (ARM), DaVinci and OMAP families.
Portability of the USB510L is enhanced due to the very compact pod and because no external power is required except for a USB connection. This makes the new emulator very well suited for travel and use with notebook computers. Many of the older and less-sophisticated parallel port and PCMCIA emulators cannot be used on modern laptops and the USB510L is a faster, easier and cost-effective replacement.
Blackhawk is the first company to introduce a USB JTAG emulator for Texas Instruments DSP’s and the new USB510L raises the standard for portability, reliability and ease of installation.
Two optional add-ons to the USB510L are the Blackhawk FlashBurn utility and Blackhawk Isolation Adapter. BHFlashBurn is a scriptable utility that follows the freely available Texas Instruments API and algorithms for programming DSPs with on-chip flash. The Blackhawk Isolation Adapter protects from ground loop voltage, harsh environments and new, untested designs. Supports 3.3v-5.0v targets with TI 14-pin connections.
The USB510L JTAG Emulator is also compatible with Code Composer Studio™ Flash-burner utility.
This item comes bundled with Code Composer Studio v5.
