Turnkey Solutions

TestGenie is a low-cost boundary-scan solution for those companies that have a genuine requirement for JTAG testing, but have difficulty absorbing the tool costs or assigning the resources required to implement the test technology into their development or production processes. TestGenie allows customers to use full-featured versions of Corelis ScanExpress products at a fraction of the cost.

Turn-Key Test Fixture Integration 

Corelis has built strong relationships with key test fixture houses that help provide our customers with guidance to take boundary-scan testability beyond a stand-alone PCB. Test fixtures can be used to combine scan-chains, add intermediate voltage level shifters, integrate boundary-scan I/O modules for increased coverage, and even reduce the setup times for production testing.

Training

On-site Training Classes and Support 

We understand that tight schedules and tighter travel budgets make it difficult for some organizations to send their personnel to our headquarters in southern California for a three-day training class, especially when large groups of people are involved. That is why Corelis employs highly-trained instructors that are able to travel and perform our standard three-day training class on-site at a customer’s facility. In addition, the on-site training can even be customized for a specific customer board design.

Corelis offers free three-day training classes that include a boundary-scan tutorial and hands-on lab exercises using Corelis ScanExpress hardware and software.

Product Support

Netlist Conversion 

There are dozens of netlist formats in the industry. While Corelis ensures that the most popular formats are supported, sometimes organizations cannot generate these popular formats due to legacy software or lack of control over the design files. Corelis offers netlist conversion services to address these needs. We can convert any netlist to a suitable format for usage with our tools.

Flash Programming File Generation 

Our staff of trained test engineers can produce ready-to-use turn-key flash programming files. They process the design information, create all necessary programming vectors, and verify the programming works on the actual hardware.

In-Circuit Tester (ICT) Integration 

Having an In-Circuit Tester that has limited boundary-scan capability, or that doesn’t have boundary-scan at all, can cause inefficiency in the test process. Corelis has successfully integrated our software with leading ICT manufacturers such as Agilent, Teradyne, CheckSum, Seica, and others. Corelis software integrates seamlessly with each tester, thereby providing a boundary-scan test solution without the need to learn a new tool.

BSDL File Validation 

Chip manufacturers and ASIC designers that implement boundary-scan in their silicon can utilize Corelis’ industry expertise to ensure their boundary-scan implementation meets the IEEE-1149.1 specification. Services include BSDL syntax and semantic checking, test vector generation and simulation, and final validation of all boundary-scan I/O pins on the device.
