I2C Bus Analyzer, Exerciser, and Programmer
The BusPro-I™ and the CAS-1000-I2C/E™ are advanced hardware instruments used in the monitoring and debugging of systems incorporating one or more I2C devices. Both are equipped with the acclaimed I2C Exerciser software, and both are packaged in a single integrated enclosure. The robust enclosure is portable for convenience in an engineering lab or on the production floor.
The BusPro-I is a powerful yet very affordable I2C bus monitoring tool. It is an integrated solution primarily for engineers who debug, verify, and test printed circuit boards and systems that include I2C buses. It can be used to monitor and log I2C bus traffic in real-time, generate transactions to exercise the bus and communicate to its components, program in-system EEPROMs.
The CAS-1000-I2C/E is designed for integrated circuit design, verification, and test engineers who are responsible for debugging, verifying, and testing components which support I2C buses. It can be used to monitor and log I2C bus traffic in real-time, generate traffic to exercise the bus and communicate to its components, program in-system EEPROMs, validate bus specification compliance, confirm protocol of bus traffic, and emulate I2C-compatible devices that are not yet physically connected to the bus. The CAS-1000-I2C/E also includes a JTAG controller that, when used with optional Corelis ScanExpress software, can perform boundary-scan structural testing and in-system programming of flash memories and CPLDs.
